I visited the Robin Hood Inn for a wreath making class with a group of friends. The package was £65 and included a welcome tea/coffee and mince pie, wreath making class, glass of Prosecco and a two course lunch. Superb experience. The stuff were friendly and welcoming, the wreath making was brilliant and the food was of a high standard. Would recommend.

I had 2 visits within 20 days. Both times tasty food, large portions so go hungry. Fish and chips in garden first visit. Second visit raining so inside. 2 starts abated between 3, terrine and prawn cocktail. Main courses steak, game pie and I had a burger. All enjoyed. Friendly, speedy service, also open kitchen. Good atmosphere, large pub.

If you are walking The Wall, this is a great place to stop. The staff is super as was the fish and chips and sea bass. We had a Guinness on the back patio after our day on the Wall and it tasted so good. But, again, the staff was really, really good. So helpful. The only downside is the rooms were very small.

After two gruelling days walking the Hadrians wall path from Brampton we decided to call the Robin Hood Inn our final destination. And what a good call it was. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and washed down perfectly with some good local beers. We camped in their field and thoroughly enjoyed our stop here.

Beautiful area of the country. Nice big pub. Serves food. Book or go early on a Sunday as it's very popular for lunch. Nice garden to sit in, plenty of parking. Was a little sad that they changed their on tap cider

Passing by on the way home, so stopped for lunch, after a recommendation. Cosy warm feel, traditional pub, good selection of ales. Attentive polite staff, clean tables. Food was tasty enough, but probably won't hurry back.
